Chasing The Sun!
These past couple of weeks have been overwhelming and difficult for me (I will explain more in another post). I know this year has been crazy for a lot of us. I want to encourage all of you to continue to keep the faith and try to find the positive in your current situation.
After taking a much-needed break from social media, I am finally back with another look.
A few weeks ago, I hung out with one of my good friends, Courtney. We decided to meet-up for a quick photo session. This quickly turned into an adventure, like always lol. We wondered around Soho looking for a good spot to take pictures and while we were walking, I randomly said – “Courtney we need to find a spot soon, the sun is running from us.”
Translation, the sun was setting early due to the change in time. Side-note…I really hate the winter for this reason, I feel like once the sun sets, my day is over and it will literally only be 5pm.
After chasing the sun for a little while longer…we finally stumbled upon a hidden gem. A small nook in front of a Chinese restaurant, where the sun was still shinning perfectly.
I wore a sweatsuit from Fruit of the Loom in the color “Charcoal Heather”. A faux leather trench coat from Zara. My new Nike Blazer Mid '77s, vintage Coach bag and black sunglasses.
As I stated in my last post, sometimes less is more, and you can still look bomb on a budget. I do it ALL the time. The crewneck sweatshirt and sweatpants are sold separately online. I purchased a men’s small and each item was $6.41 – they offer a discount code to first time users who create an account. I snagged this jacket while Zara was having their big sale in the summer. This jacket originally retailed for $89.90 and I got it for $45. My bag was purchased at a thrift store and my sneakers are from Kids Foot Locker and they retail for $80.
