All Smiles — My Life As Aj.

As mentioned in my previous post, I am fully invested in my self-love journey. Each day I show myself grace & patience. While away on my escape from the cold weather, I found myself smiling more. Ahaha, no it was not because I was in a bikini & recharging on vitamin D. I felt what true happiness was. No stress, no worries… just in total bliss.

Living in the moment & creating new memories.

I said to my bestfriend, Kayla...remember when I use to be so insecure about my gap? She responded, “Yessss, I remember. You hated it.” I smiled and said, I cannot believe I did not realize how beautiful my smile was. Imagine how different our lives would be if we started to embrace our imperfections (or what we thought were imperfections). It can be easy to tear ourselves down with hurtful and untrue comments/statements.

Do not listen to what others say about you & stop believing the negative things you have told yourself for years.

While away, Kayla & I decided to check out Vizcaya Museum and Gardens!!! I think this was the best choice we have made in a while lol. The garden stretched on for acres, the ocean was at our fingertips & the mansion gave us a glimpse into the glamorous life many years ago. Each room was extraordinary. We truly got a sense of history and heritage.

I wore a bright pink puffy sleeve dress, with a deep plunged V-cutout neckline. The dress was tapered at the waist and the flare of the dress gave it a baby-doll feel. While shopping at H&M, I accidentally stumbled across this dress in the sale section. I was kind of skeptical at first with how it would fit, I decided to buy it anyways when the cashier said it was incorrectly priced & was only $7.99!!!! We love a good deal!!

Sidenote: I really miss trying on clothes in store!!

The bright pink paired perfectly with my blue sunnies & flower embroidered bag. I completed this look with my square toe block heel mules from Zara.
